Expanded Securing the Future Conference in the Works for 2025

Cincinnati, Ohio, April 2, 2025 - Leadership Council for Nonprofits and Barnes Dennig are joining forces to expand the annual Securing the Future conference designed for nonprofit leadership, both staff and boards, in the Tristate region.
Leadership Council has hosted Securing the Future since 2017, after assuming responsibility from Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, carrying on the legacy of a project conceived by a Leadership Cincinnati class in 2001. The conference typically features a national keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and an exhibitor fair.
Barnes Dennig has been hosting a Nonprofit Leadership Summit for its clients and others since 2002, annually bringing in speakers on a timely topic for the nonprofit sector. Since 2018, Barnes Dennig has collaborated with Leadership Council and AFP Cincinnati to plan and promote the conference.
The half-day events have been held spring and fall, respectively. Joining forces will enable Leadership Council to present a full day Securing the Future in fall 2025, with more robust and relevant content.

The shift in strategy provides an opportunity for a more robust conference, with additional options for the region’s nonprofit community to learn, share experiences, and grow together.
Barnes Dennig will become a conference sponsor, along with many other firms and foundations. They will also share their 20+ years of experience planning the Summit with the team planning Securing the Future 2025. A date and venue will be announced in the coming weeks.
