BOLD Leadership for Nonprofit Board Chairs

Real-life lessons for leading a nonprofit board to success in Greater Cincinnati

Mission Accomplished class Jan. 2024

Doing good work for our community shouldn’t be this difficult.

But running a nonprofit board has never been tougher.

COVID-19. The economy. Endless distractions. Well-intentioned but disconnected board members focused on their smartphones instead of your mission.

“Mission Accomplished” is a half-day master class exclusively for nonprofit board chairs and vice-chairs. Covering everything from working with the CEO to building an engaged board, the focus is practical solutions to persistent problems facing board leaders.

Jay Shatz

Powered by the Leadership Council for Nonprofits, this workshop is led by Emmy Award-winning journalist, Jay Shatz. With more than 25 years of nonprofit experience including two stints as a board chair, Jay promises no blindfolds or trust falls, just ready-to-use advice from a team of experts inspired to rally your board around your mission.
