Our storygathering methodology is built upon years of researching and practicing restorative media and systems change. We believe that all narratives shift based upon who is placed in the center of them. We intentionally work alongside community members to elicit narratives that center them and honor their expertise and strengths as well as their challenges. Ricci Michaels is a self taught artist a veteran and founder of the Urban Expression 101 Project an organization that promotes the powers of art by bringing Art to people and people to Art by going out into the community and the sometimes forgotten corners of society while promoting the healing powers of art.
